Me love chess.
I find it very odd that there's such a difference in the rating system to, say, yahoo! chess. There I was able to get a pretty good rating of 1100...here I've had trouble getting past 700. I'm not totally sure, but I think people cheat. It wouldn't be hard--run Chessmaster on the computer, playing the opposite color from the Xbox. Input all your opponents moves as your own, and respond as the Chessmaster does. I can't bring myself to do this, but I suspect others are doing it.
All in all, I'd rather play people face-to-face.
